Top Parken
For this project, Top Parken asked for a few new service set design. They wanted a welcome set for two adults, a welcome set for adults with children and a welcome set for adults with a dog. I created a design based on this information, and below you can see a bit of the process.
For adults:
The first design was a drink and snack box for the two adults. The design on the box is based of their mascot and a bottle of red wine on the front. It contains a bottle of red wine, and two bags of nut mix.
For adults and children:
The second design is a game of yahtzee. Bunzl Foodservice Almere was all about reusables. So we wanted to include one of our best sellers: The reusable cup, but personalised to fit Top Parken.
For a family with a dog:
The third design is one im the most proud of. We didn't want to include treats for the dog, because not every dog likes the same treats. So we went for toys. I wanted to keep the colours of Top Parken but also wanted to use my creativity and do something with the dog prompt. The base of the design is very common, but i wanted to give it a little twist. So I decided to make it look like a dog is holding the ball.
We also had the idea to put poop bags instead of the rope as an indicator to keep the park clean, but most dog owners already take their own poop bags with them when going somewhere.
After a review with the manager:
After a review with the manager we decided that we didn't want any alcohol in the "for adults" box, because not everyone likes alcohol.
So I had to brainstorm again. One of the easy things to design would be an intimacy box, but that wouldn't be very appropriate because not every adult is a couple. But I wanted something that could make you relaxed. So I thought about a wellness box with a bathbomb, but after some digging I found out not every house/lodge has a bath. And so the search continued.
In the end I came up with two designs:
Wellness Box:
I still really liked the idea of a wellness box, so I did some brainstorming. After writing all kinds of products down that everyone can use whether you have a bath or shower and makes one feel relaxed, I came up with a few small things. The design of the products are very minimalistic, but they were good enough for a proposal.
The Wellness Box contains a candle, matches, body oil, lipbalm and soap.
Essentials Box:
For the second design I chose a Essentials box. This box would be even more inclusive and contain all kinds of things you would use on a daily basis. The box contains two bottles of water, a salt mix, a sweet mix, shampoo, shower gel and a loofah.
This project was done at the end of my internship. I dont know if any of these designs made the cut, but once again I learned a lot in this process and I am greatfull for that.
